Can I personally pick up or drop off the equipment?

No, for safety reasons and insurance limitations, our haulers must be used for all equipment deliveries and pick-ups.

What does "local delivery" mean?

The definition of local delivery varies depending on the market and the delivery company we work with. It generally spans 25 to 50 miles, depending on your location. Contact your Rental Expert to learn about local delivery specifics for your area.

Does The Rental Company serve my region?

Yes, The Rental Company collaborates with local suppliers across the United States, ensuring that we have a nearby location to assist you, regardless of where you are.

Can I contact the delivery company for equipment service?

If you require service or have concerns about your rental equipment, please reach out to your dedicated TRC Customer Service Representative. Alternatively, you may choose to directly contact the company that delivered the equipment.

When will my equipment be picked up?

While we strive to pick up equipment promptly at the end of each rental term, unforeseen circumstances or scheduling issues may cause delays. It is possible that the equipment will not be picked up until several hours, days, or even weeks after the scheduled pick-up time. In such cases, you are responsible for housing the equipment until it is collected.

If you are unable to store the equipment or require an earlier pick-up date or time, please inform your Rental Expert in advance. Additional charges may apply.

Do I need to notify when I am finished with the equipment?

You only need to contact us under the following conditions:

  • If you need the equipment for a longer duration than initially confirmed, please call us at least four (4) hours before the end of your rental period to arrange an extension.
  • If it is not feasible for us to retrieve the equipment at the end of your rental due to locked gates or other accessibility issues, you will be charged for an additional rental day and a dry-run fee.

Am I responsible for any damages?

In most cases, yes. The Damage Waiver may cover incidental damage. For comprehensive information on our rental policies, please refer to the Terms & Conditions outlined in the provided Rental Agreement.

Am I responsible for toll charges?

Yes, you are responsible for any toll charges incurred during the delivery and pickup of the equipment. Toll charges are typically applicable in the NYC metro area. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

If my rental equipment is delivered at 10 AM for a 1 Day rental, how long can I use it?

You can use the equipment for up to eight (8) hours until 10 AM on the following business day.

If you use the equipment for more than one (1) 8-hour shift, you will be charged for two (2) days of usage.

Can I have equipment delivered tomorrow?

Yes, in most cases, we can deliver the equipment the next day. However, please note that early morning delivery times fill up quickly and may not be available.

In some instances, if the equipment and trucks are available, we may be able to provide same-day delivery. In such cases, normal delivery rates may not apply, and an external hauler might be utilized

How long is each rental period?

  • One Day Rental: One (1) 8-hour shift over a 24-hour period
  • One Week Rental: Five (5) 8-hour shifts over a seven-day period
  • One Month Rental: Twenty (20) 8-hour shifts over a 28-day period

Is fuel included?

No, the equipment is delivered with a full fuel tank. If refueling becomes necessary, it is your responsibility to refuel the equipment. Failure to do so will result in a refueling fee.

Do you guarantee the delivery time?

While we make every effort to deliver the equipment at the pre-arranged time, we cannot guarantee delivery time due to factors like traffic conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
